GE will order “tens of thousands” of the electric vehicles in about a
week, CEO of GE Jeffrey Immelt said Thursday in a speech in London, without
giving a total or identifying a manufacturerq, according to Bloomberg. As

GE will order the "tens of thousands" of electric cars this
week, according to a statement of giant boss Jeffrey Immelt in London.
These are the largest ever fleet-purchase of electric cars in history. From

Many of the leading automobile manufacturers are preparing to launch sales
of its electric models in the coming months.

electric extended-range Volt,
Honda Motor Co.,
Chrysler LLC,

other major brands are also working on the development and marketing of
electric cars.
The huge fleet new electric cars will assist GE in its efforts in the
promotion of clean energy technologies such as chargers for cars, solar
panels and wind turbines. With every dollar generated in sales of electric
