GE will order “tens of thousands” of the electric vehicles in about a week, CEO of GE Jeffrey Immelt said Thursday in a speech in London, without giving a total or identifying a manufacturerq, according to Bloomberg. The huge fleet new electric cars will assist GE in its efforts in the promotion of clean energy technologies such as chargers for cars, solar panels and wind turbines.
